Kenya has ramped up its efforts to combat the spread of Mpox and neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) with the receipt of vital testing kits and medicines from global health partners, including the World Health Organization (WHO) and USAID. This support arrives as the country records its first Mpox death, with confirmed cases rising to 13. Health officials emphasized the significance of these resources in strengthening the nation’s capacity for disease surveillance and response, particularly in regions with high disease burdens.
